Most problems aren’t unsolved. They’re undefined.

That’s taken twenty years to earn, across organisations and 40+ markets (Samsung, Unilever, P&G, to name a few).

Then a Swiss impact asset manager, running the entire function solo across 45+ regulated markets.

1. Objectives, before output
Most problems arrive less defined than they look. I find out what’s actually being asked before anything gets built
2. Strategy, to serve the objectives
A plan that looks busy isn’t the same as a plan that gets you where you’re going. I build the second kind
3. Alignment, not deadlock
Stakeholders who all have a valid, different view can stall a decision for months. I get them to one.
4. Complexity, translated
Technical, regulated or scientific material that’s accurate but unreadable doesn’t move anyone. I make it both.
5. Every audience, no shared mandate
A board, a regulator and a customer rarely want the same message. I build the one version that works for all three.
6. Channel and content, in that order
The message decides what’s said; the medium decides how far it travels. Get the message wrong and no format saves it. I build the message first, then take it wherever it needs to run (deck, film, press, platform).
7. Process, not overtime
Knowing how to brief AI well is its own skill. I use it to move faster and test more options; the direction and judgement stay mine.
8. One voice, multiple marketsThe same message rarely lands the same way twice. I adapt register, tone and cultural nuance so it reads the same everywhere, without going bland to survive everywhere.
  • A stalled decision across teams in the UK, Europe, and a global HQ, each with a valid but conflicting view, unblocked by being the one person willing to say what everyone else was avoiding.
  • Diagnosing unstated leadership intent from behavioural signals (scope changes, timing, what goes unsaid) and building the communications response ahead of the formal decision.
  • A LinkedIn presence and content pipeline built from a standing start, run by one person, growing audience by 79% and site traffic by 16% – no agency, no team, no extra headcount.
  • Reputationally sensitive material getting from “nobody agrees on the wording” to signed off, without a rewrite cycle owned by any one department.

A quick way to check, before we talk.

Good FitNot a Fit
You’re not sure whether the problem is communications, marketing, or the absence of a business objective; or you know where you want to get to, but not how.You need a large in-house team built and managed day to day.
You have technical, regulated, or scientific material that needs to reach people who aren’t specialists. You’re looking for a media-relations or press-office function specifically.
You’re a small or lean team without a dedicated senior communications function. You need regulated professional advice (financial, legal, medical, or otherwise). I’m not licensed to give it.
You need a defined project or a running retainer, not a full-time hire. You already have a clear strategy and just need extra hands-on execution.
Your stakeholders (boards, regulators, consumers, partner networks) span more than one market, culture or jurisdiction. You need someone on-site full time, five days a week.

I build and use AI-supported systems daily, part of how I’ve run a full communications function solo, across 45+ regulated markets.

I’ve used it to architect a 24-piece content system organised by funnel stage and search intent, planned months ahead rather than produced reactively. I’ve used it to turn dense technical material into case studies, briefing documents and Q&A frameworks, built for people at every level of an organisation to act on, not file away. And I’ve used it to sustain growth I could measure: audience up 79% over the period I owned the channel, with no added headcount.

What it can’t do is take responsibility for what goes out under someone’s name, read a room, or catch when something clever is also wrong.

I use it to cover more ground, faster. Not instead of doing the job.

No account managers, no bloated scopes to justify a bigger invoice. Bring me the problem as it stands, I’ll tell you honestly what it will take to solve it.

  • Project-based or ongoing support (retainer)
  • Direct engagement with business clients
  • Remote delivery, with on-site engagement where required

globaLatitude is how this work is delivered and invoiced, the same structure I used consulting for clients including Samsung, Relax and B-works, applied now to a wider range of sectors.

Revenue is generated through service fees invoiced directly to clients. Clients are primarily based in the UK and Europe.

The company does not manage client funds, media budgets, or third-party payments.

Twenty years across Samsung, P&G, Unilever, Kellogg’s, Beiersdorf and Reckitt taught me that most problems landing on a marketing or comms brief aren’t undefined: they’re defined badly, or built around the wrong objective entirely. Before I write anything, I work out what’s actually being asked, what matters most, and whether the real issue is strategy, resourcing, or communications. Treating those as the same thing is how budgets and credibility both quietly disappear.

For the last three years I’ve done that alone, as the entire communications and marketing function for a Swiss impact asset manager operating across 45+ regulated markets. No team, no fallback, and material that had to survive compliance, investors and the market before any of it went public. A lot of that job is invisible: absorbing the noise and the shifting priorities, and building the response before a gap between stated and actual position turns into a visible problem.

The products changed. The discipline didn’t: work out what’s true and what’s at stake before deciding what to say.

I’m Marine Lacoudree.

globaLatitude is where I do this work for organisations that don’t need another consultancy telling them to leverage synergies. They need someone who sets the priorities and the strategy first, and only reaches for a comms plan after; someone who can take something genuinely complicated, work out what it’s asking for, and make it make sense without losing what made it true.

What actually happens if I get in touch?

I read the brief, tell you honestly whether it’s a fit, and come back with a recommended plan and next steps.

How much does this cost?

Project or retainer, scoped to the brief. I’ll give you a number once I know what you need.

Do you do the strategy, or the writing, or both?

Both. Strategy, content planning, messaging architecture, comms writing, case study writing, it all sit under one roof. I don’t hand off between defining what to say and actually writing it. I can also work directly in the Adobe suite for layout and design execution.

Do you work with our technical or compliance teams directly, or only with marketing?

Directly with both, usually at the same time. I’ve worked straight from engineering and product teams on technical claims, from legal and compliance on regulatory substantiation, and from risk and investment teams on financial material, reading source material from the people who own it, not a marketing brief written about it second-hand.

How fast do you respond, and how long does work take?

A yes or no on fit within 48 hours. From there, timeline depends on scope and what we agree.

Who owns the final output?

You do. What’s developed for the engagement is for the engagement, not a template for someone else to run without me.

Have you worked in my sector before?

My direct sector experience is consumer brands (Samsung, P&G, Unilever, Kellogg’s, Beiersdorf, Reckitt) and impact finance (Enabling Qapital). What carries across both and into the sectors listed above is the underlying skill: translating technical or regulated complexity. That’s the transferable part, not where I’ve worked before.
